Pain-free, Japanese Acupuncture

Painless style of acupuncture, also known as Toyohari, is a non-invasive Japanese acupuncture treatment.  It uses non-invasive needling technique (‘contact needling’), making it suitable for sensitive patients, and those who are frightened by needles.
The treatment involves addressing the root energetic imbalance of a patient in order to strengthen the whole body.  The diagnostics is carried out by using a sophisticated technique which places great emphasis on pulse diagnosis and gentle palpation skills.  The silver or golden needle is then held over the skin surface.  A patient may feel a gentle touch of the tip of the needle; however the needle will never penetrate the skin.

Due to its simple and painless technique, Toyohari is also used to treat children.  A specialised paediatric style called Shonishin is applied to treat such conditions as irritability, excessive crying at night, hyperactivity, disturbed sleep, indigestion, weakened immune system, bedwetting and others.
